Chief Executive Officer

Dr Andre Oboler holds a PhD in Computer Science from Lancaster University, UK. He has been a lecturer in Web Technologies, Software Engineering and other areas of computer science. Andre has been involved in the UK Jewish community as an executive member of the Union of Jewish Students (UJS) and a deputy on the Board of Deputies of British Jews. In 2006 (during the Hizbullah crisis) Andre was the UK delegate on the Bayit Meshutaf program run by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 2007-2008 Andre is a Legacy Heritage Fellow at NGO Monitor in Jerusalem. Andre has presented seminars in Australia, the UK, Europe, the USA and Israel. In 2008 he was a speaker at the Global Forum to Combat Antisemitism, the premier event on the topic on antisemitism. He has published a ground breaking report Online Antisemitism 2.0. "Social Antisemitism" on the "Social Web" through the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs and is currently working on a book on the topic.

Paul Reti is the owner and moderator of "Jews TALK" a popular mailing list on Middle East issues and the Australia Jewish community. Paul also runs the technology stream at Limmud Oz and is involved with a number of Jewish and general charitable organisations.

Dvar Dea is a pseudonym for one of the chief moderators and commentators on the Zionism On The Web forums. Dvar is an Israeli with a degree in political science and an active engagement in online activism. Dvar also has his own site.

Liz is a pseudonym for a Christian blogger we host on our forums. Liz is active within the Church and keeps an eye on the devleoping relations between Christian communities, its leaders and the Jewish people and Israel. Dr Matania Ginosar is an Environmental Scientist at Sacramento, California. He is a commentator on the Middle East and was a member of Lechi (aka the Stern Gang) a group of freedom fighters / terrorists / militants (depending who you ask) that were active during the establishment of the state of Israel. Prof Gerald M. Steinberg is the director of the Program on Conflict Management and Negotiation at Bar-Ilan University. Prof. Steinberg is the Executive Director of NGO Monitor and a Fellow of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs. An expert on the Middle East conflict, Prof. Steinberg is a regular contributor to Zionism On The Web.

Dr Ami Isseroff is the Director of MidEastWeb for Coexistence and of our sister site the Zionism Information Center. Ami lives in Israel. He is a systems analyst, marketing and technical writer and Web journalist. He is Webmaster of several Israel-related Web sites and a pioneer of political activism via the Internet medium.

Dr Denis MacEoin is a novelist and an expert and former lecturer in Islamic studies. In 1986, he was made Honorary Fellow in the Centre for Islamic and Middle East Studies at Durham University. He is the Royal Literary Fund Fellow at Newcastle University. Dr MacEoin has pursued his principal career as a novelist since 1986 and has twenty-three novels including a number of best-sellers. He writes under the pseudonyms Daniel Easterman and Jonathan Aycliffe.

Maurice Ostroff a South African commentator living in Israel. Maurice is Fellow of the Institute of Administration and Commerce of South Africa, a former member of the Board of Governors of the Technion (Israel's Institute of Technology) and a former chairman of the Israel-South Africa Chamber of Commerce. Maurice served in the IDF as a machal volunteer in the 1948 War of Independence. He has his own site and regularly contributes material to Zionism On The Web

Ronnie Fraser is the founder and chair of the British Academic Friends of Israel, a member of the executive of the International Advisory Board for Academic Freedom and a deputy on the Board of Deputies of British Jews. Ronnie is a college lecturer and long time union activist and has been on the front lines of combatting racism and antisemitism within the UK trade union movement, as well as being a advocate against bias in unions debate on the Middle East. Ronnie was a key organiser in over turning the 2005 AUT boycott of Israel. Zionism On The Web regularly reproduces AFI material and works in close co-ordination with Ronnie again the academic boycott of Israel.
